This is a deck that makes use of its power [Contract Field] which reduces the Lv cost of your [Netherealm] by 1. As the Grand Emperor Ultimate,[The Netherealm Skull Knight Emperor, Ultimate Gi Gasha] has a power effect to summon a cost 8 or lower [Netherealm] from your trash without paying cost by placing cores on it until it has Lv3 or higher cores, when it is summoned or destroyed. It can also trigger one of your [Netherealm]'s when summoned effect through [Skull Release] when it is Lv4.5 to end the game. It grants a special effect to turn [Awaken Dragon] cards into soul state. The GranSkill is also designed to during flash, summon or deploy cards from soul state and [Contract Descent] as the main strategy of the deck. As the Grand Emperor Ultimate of the deck, [The Divine Saint Dragon, Hveen Danta] can Contract Descent upon your [Awaken Dragon] spirits and it lets you return 1 spirit/ultimate/burst card to the bottom of your opponent's deck when it descents or attacks and through its [Kaihou:1], the effect cannot be guarded. Also, the AX Rare [The Great Oracle Deity, Ultimate Amaterasu Dragon] reduces its cost by 2 according to the number of soul state cards you have. It also returns all Spirits and Ultimate other than itself to the bottom of the deck when it is summoned. Last week, we adjusted the meta for [Battle Spirits Championship Regional Qualifiers] and announced the change to the banned and limited list. We should have announced it earlier, but we only announced it very close to the regional qualifiers and we are terribly apologetic about it. We kept to our belief of allowing players to enjoy the meta and that was why we decided to implement the change at this time. We seek your understanding.
This time, we have banned the following 3 cards: [BS52-CP08 Evil Spear of Balance, Libra Jevelin], [BS12-X02 The EvilCapricornusDeity Stein-Bolg] and the same named card, [BS38-Rv X02 The Evil CapricornusDeity Stein-Bolg].
Regarding [Evil Spear of Balance, Libra Javelin], after it became a combo with [BSC50-CX02 The Machine Lion Deity, Strikewurm-Leo VX] from [BSC49 Dream Booster Revolving Stars], it has exceeded its responsibilities in [Contract GranWalker Hephaestus Deck] and easily became a game ending plan which is difficult to stop. In addition, when it is braved to a GranWalker nexus, its Granfields oppresses decks which plays around the trash and as such, we decided to ban it. Regarding [BS38-Rv X02 The Evil CapricornusDeity Stein-Bolg], it has always been a key part of a loop deck. But as the card pool for [Galaxian] and [Astral Soul] increased, it makes looping easier and as the card which oppresses loop, [Evil Spear of Balance, Libra Javelin] is being banned, we decided to ban it. We are not trying to deny a loop deck's existence, but as it is easily achievable now, we expect it to see it being used even more in the meta and hence decided to make this judgement.
Also, as the banned and limited notice described, [BSC49-075 The Shining Galaxy LT] is also within our discussion. We will look at the meta of [Battle Spirits Championship 25-26 Regional Qualifier Wave 3] after this change and do any required rectification. We will continue to monitor the meta and do our best to let everyone enjoy BS in the appropriate meta.

TV anime [Battle Spirits Brave] will be welcoming its 15th Anniversary this year! We have [BSC49 Revolving Stars] on sale at the moment and on 27th December (Sat), we will be releasing [BSC50 Resonating Stars] which also have [Brave] as its theme!

Heroes Anthology

Through YouTube livestream [Battle Spirits Shin Kaihou Project Announcement], we have explained the rules and mechanics of [Standard], as well as next year's products and events schedule.

As we bring in Standard, we also emphasize on allowing more people enjoy BS. As such, through new mechanics like simplifying the effect text, inserting Second Main Step, and [Shin Kaihou]. It can provide depth for players that have been supporting the game and at the same time, allow new or returning players to enjoy the game easily. As explained during the presentation, we did some minor adjustments to rules and mechanics of the [Standard Demo Session]. Deck construction rules and Lv. will be kept the same as everyone's feedback. In the questionnaire, we received many feedbacks regarding the rules and mechanics and we are grateful for it. Even though we are unable to use each feedbacks, the R&D Team will give our all to reach our goal to make BS the best game.

Regarding the first batch of products for [Standard], we have announced that there will be booster pack and 6 types of structured deck in April 2026. 6 types of structured deck is to allow each player to start Standard using their favourite colors. It also allows new BS players to get into the game more easily. Please look forward to the 6 types of structured decks!

We have also announced the release of Diva Booster and Collaboration Booster packs. The familiar Diva and Collaboration booster packs will continue to be released next year. Please continue to enjoy the fun of Diva and Collaboration booster. Regarding Collaboration booster, we are considering new titles, please look forward to it!

Also, we have also announced the sales of [Eternal Booster Pack] that includes cards for Eternal use only. Next year will also be the release of both format, [Standard] and [Eternal], but we hope that players can enjoy both formats. [Eternal Booster Pack] will include cards to boost current decks as well as new Contract cards. Please look forward to it!

Regarding the event schedule next year, we have announced that [Standard] and [Eternal] events will be hosted. In order to let players enjoy both formats, championship is needless to say, shop hosted tournaments will also be hosting for both formats. We will create a fulfilling year to let players enjoy both formats to their hearts' desires. Please join them!

Regarding the card design and new products from April next year, there are no information on them. We plan to update everyone around Jan 2026. Please look forward to it.

Also, after the livestream of [Battle Spirits Shin Kaihou Project], we have heard that many players are looking forward to the new anime series that is set to be released next year. During the [Battle Spirits Burning Soul 10th Anniversary Special Set], we have announced that the new anime will be including [Standard] and [Eternal]. In the anime, both battle formats will be illustrated. [Standard] and [Eternal] have a big impact on the plot, not only the battle scene. Please look forward to the illustration of these two formats in the anime!
At the current moment, we are producing the anime, in preparation for the airing next year. It is regrettable that there are many information that we are unable to announce now, but we believe that it is a production that will inherit the strengths of BS and also showing the viewers a unique new look, making it worthwhile to watch. We recently introduced the rules and mechanics of the new “Standard” format during the Battle Spirits Shinkaiho Project Presentation. With the valuable feedback gathered from surveys, this new format is truly shaped together with all Battlers. Our team is excited for what’s coming and continues to work hard to deliver the best Battle Spirits experience. More detailed product information for “Standard” will be shared around January.

We also joined the Battle Spirits: Burning Soul 10th Anniversary Special Event, which reminded us of the anime’s lasting popularity. As we work on the new series, we aim to create something exciting and memorable for years to come. Please look forward to future updates.
