- Early Game
- Summon [Evangelion Test Type Unit-01 –Life off-], [Evangelion Test Type Unit-01 –First Activation-] and [Ikari Shinji] to increase hand size while securing purple symbols on your field.
The mirage effect of [The Secret Agency NERV] activates when your life is reduced, set it on the field as a priority to strengthen your defense. - Mid Game
- [Evangelion Test Type Unit-01 –Progressive Knife-] would be your main attacker during the mid game. It removes 2 cores when it is summoned and when it attacks, you can return a nexus from your trash to your hand and destroy an opposing spirit with 2 cores or less. Destroy opposing spirit while depleting their cores.
As for your defense, you can use either [Evangelion Test Type Unit-01 –First Activation-] that refreshes after it rebirths when it leaves the field due to your opponent, or [Evangelion Prototype Unit-00 (Improved) that can be summoned during the flash timing. - Late Game
- During the late game, summon [Evangelion Test Type Unit-01 Determined Sortie-] and rebirth it using its target attack to satisfy the rebirth condition. [Evangelion Test Type Unit-01 Pseudo Evolution Initial Arousal Phase] refreshes when it rebirths, allowing you to attack consecutively. When it attacks, it moves 2 cores from an opposing spirit to the reserve and if depleted a spirit, it can move an opposing life to the reserve. Attain victory by depleting your opposing spirit and attacking their lives!
