【IMPORTANT NOTICE】
Notice Regarding BS45-X04
"The Sacred Machine Beast, Lighting Ceryneian"
Ruling Changes [Updated 8th August, 2018]

We received many feedback regarding the [BS45-X04 The Sacred Machine Beast, Lighting Ceryneian] Lv1·Lv2·Lv3 effect that whether it is the description in Japanese or Q&A related rulings, they’re difficult to understand.

【Current Ruling】
When the only cores available for use or to pay cost are the 2 cores left on [The Sacred Machine Beast, Lighting Ceryneian], after activating this Spirit card’s Lv1·Lv2·Lv3 effect, this Spirit card will be depleted, and you may summon 1 Spirit card from hand from the family: ‘Machine Beast’.

We received majority of the feedback is that, after summoning Spirit card from hand, [The Sacred Machine Beast, Lighting Ceryneian] is depleted and unable to remain on the field in the same position. Thus unable to fulfill the text 「することで」 (must fulfill the pre-requirement in effect description and fulfill subsequent activated effect).
After a thorough discussion within our ≪BS Special Research Department≫, in order to prevent the confusion resulted by Japanese text description, we have decided to make the following ruling change.

【Changed Ruling】
When the only cores available for use or to pay cost are the 2 cores left on [The Sacred Machine Beast, Lighting Ceryneian], after activating this Spirit card’s Lv1·Lv2·Lv3 effect, due the summoning of the Spirit card from family: ‘Machine Beast’ in hand needed these 2 cores, by taking away the cores this Spirit card will be depleted, from the text 「することで」even if the prior requirement is met, the subsequent effect cannot be activated. Hence, the overall effect cannot be activated.

Concurrently, Q3 in Q&A has been updated.

This change of rulings is effected from 11th August, 2018.
Please take note that these changes will take immediate effect in all Official/Non-Official Tournaments and Casual Plays. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and for the extra precaution that all our players have to take due to this change of rulings.
